Dialysis centre of the USB at Bethesda Hospital

The USB dialysis centre at Bethesda Hospital offers the usual haemodialysis procedures (dialysis, haemodiafiltration) with the latest generation of Fresenius machines.

We have places available for holiday dialysis patients. If you have problems outside opening hours, please contact the nephrologist on duty at the University Hospital. Please ask for the nephrologist on duty.

Care is provided by specialised medical and nursing staff under the direction of the Clinic for Transplantation Immunology and Nephrology at the University Hospital Basel.

Our offer / services

  • We offer you equipment with innovative technology (HD, HDF) from Fresenius.
  • We have 12 dialysis stations in a bright, modern and quiet environment. Each place is equipped with telephone, radio and TV (with headphones).
  • We are happy to reserve a dialysis place for holiday or trade fair guests.
  • Lockable lockers are available in the cloakrooms.
  • During dialysis you will be offered a snack and the usual drinks. You also have the option of having a diet lunch in the Bethesda Park restaurant (advance booking required).
  • Car park - special conditions for dialysis patients: It is possible to park in the Bethesda Hospital visitor car park for CHF 8. You will be billed monthly.
  • The nursing staff will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.

  • Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 7.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m
