  • Urgency before order: Our triage care team treats patients according to the urgency of their complaints. Please understand that this may result in waiting times.
  • For every woman: Even if you do not have a regular gynaecologist, you are welcome to visit us. We treat every woman aged 16 and over who would like our help.
  • Waiting times: Depending on capacity utilisation, there may occasionally be longer waiting times. We ask for your understanding and patience.
  • Non-urgent cases: If your concern is not an acute emergency, please make a regular appointment during one of our consultation hours or with a private gynaecologist.

A gynaecological emergency includes acute and urgent complaints of a gynaecological nature that require immediate medical attention. These include severe pain, unusual bleeding, sudden and severe pain in the lower abdomen, fainting or signs of a miscarriage.

Waiting times may vary as patients are treated according to the urgency of their complaints. Waiting times may be longer if the number of patients is high. We ask for your understanding and patience.

Yes, the gynaecological emergency service is available around the clock without an appointment. However, for non-urgent complaints, please make a regular appointment at one of our consultation hours or with a private gynaecologist.

Our triage care team assesses the urgency of your complaints when you arrive. Patients with the most serious and urgent complaints are treated first to ensure the best possible care.

If your concern is not an acute emergency, we recommend that you make a regular appointment at one of our consultation hoursor with a private gynaecologist.

Emergencies cannot be planned and immediate medical treatment is essential. In the event of an emergency, the entire costs (apart from the excess and the annual deductible) are covered by your health insurance and the canton everywhere in Switzerland. In this case, you will not incur any additional costs.

Our emergency service treats a wide range of gynaecological complaints, including severe lower abdominal pain, unusual bleeding, infections, signs of miscarriage and other urgent health problems.
