With our services for mothers in need, we offer expectant mothers and fathers the following support in emergency situations.
Bethesda Hospital has been running a baby window in collaboration with the Swiss Foundation for Mother and Child Aid since November 2015 - a unique service in the Basel region for mothers in need.
Pregnant women in emergency situations have the opportunity at Bethesda Hospital to give birth to their baby confidentially while keeping their identity secret.
Do you need a confidential, free consultation with a specialist on a psychosocial topic during your pregnancy or birth? This could be about an unplanned pregnancy, pregnancy and labour, your relationship, finances, sexuality or something else. The BL counselling centres for pregnancy and relationship issues will be happy to help you.
