Our emergency service is available for you around the clock, seven days a week. We treat urgent and acute cases with the highest priority.

  • For every woman: Whether you already have a regular gynaecologist or not, we are there for you and support you throughout your pregnancy and birth.
  • Waiting times: Waiting times may occur depending on capacity utilisation. We endeavour to keep these as short as possible.
  • Non-urgent cases: If your concern is not an emergency, please make a regular appointment at one of our consultation hours or with your private gynaecologist.

The birth is about to start - what to do?

The birth begins. Suddenly you've forgotten everything.

The midwife will carry out an initial examination at reception: The baby is checked for heartbeat, position and size. The birth process is then assessed. We take time to listen to your wishes and needs and discuss the next steps leading up to the birth. The doctor will come to the birth if necessary.

Ideally, the birth bag should be packed three weeks before the due date.
This way, you can come to us at the start of labour in a relaxed manner.

We have put together a birth checklist for the birth and the postnatal period.
The baby's initial equipment during the hospital stay is taken care of.

Yes, the emergency service for pregnancy and childbirth is available around the clock without an appointment. However, for non-urgent concerns, please make a regular appointment at one of our consultation hours or with your private gynaecologist.

Yes, we treat every woman, regardless of whether she has a regular gynaecologist.

Emergencies cannot be planned and immediate medical treatment is essential. In the event of an emergency, the entire costs (apart from the excess and the annual deductible) are covered by your health insurance and the canton everywhere in Switzerland. In this case, you will not incur any additional costs.
