Requirements & application process

You are at least in the 5th semester of your medical studies. You also have fluent written and spoken German (min. level C1) and are enthusiastic about patient-orientated working hours.

  • Active support of the medical team
  • Co-care of inpatients
  • Taking the admission history and status under the supervision of the ward doctor
  • Familiarisation with the entire spectrum of clinical pictures in the chosen area and all medical ward work
  • Comprehensive supervision and support from our medical team
  • Participation in ward rounds, interdisciplinary case discussions, reports and further education and training events
  • Opportunity to gain an insight into the emergency department, consultation hours and physiotherapy
  • Assisting with interventions
  • The training is based on the Swiss catalogue of learning objectives
