In the ranking of the American news magazine "Newsweek", Bethesda Hospital appears in two categories of the "World's Best Hospitals 2023".
After Bethesda Hospital already achieved a very good rating in last year's assessment, we are delighted to now appear on the "shortlist" in two categories. The assessment is based on analyses of patient surveys, quality measurements and interviews with nurses, doctors and other health care professionals.
«We are delighted to receive this recognition. It shows that we are on the right track with our daily endeavours for the well-being of our patients.»
For the second year, Newsweek and Statista have compiled a list of hospitals that make the best use of the most advanced technologies. The World's Best Smart Hospitals 2023 lists the 300 facilities in 28 countries that are leading the way in the use of AI, digital imaging, telemedicine, robotics and electronic functions.
Smart Hospitals are using cutting-edge technology to fundamentally rethink care within the healthcare system. The latest virtual care and digital imaging technology, AI-driven decision support and robotics, all connected within the hospital network, are being used to redefine the way information is shared. Utilising these new technologies not only improves treatment outcomes and efficiency within the hospital, but makes hospitals a member of a wider ecosystem to advance healthcare goals in the areas of prevention, population health and quality of life.
We are extremely pleased with the following ranking in the category "World's Best Smart Hospitals 2023":
The ranking includes the top 300 hospitals for cardiology and oncology, the top 200 for paediatrics, the top 150 for cardiac surgery and endocrinology and the top 125 each for gastroenterology, orthopaedics, neurology, neurosurgery, urology and pulmonology. And for the second year, Newsweek and Statista have compiled a list of hospitals that make the best use of the most advanced technologies.
Our "Spine Surgery" was recognised in the "Neurosurgery" category. We are very proud of this and are delighted with the following ranking:
«My thanks go to our employees and attending physicians, without whom such appreciation would not be possible.»
