Dr Juliet Kahnt, new Head of Spinal Surgery
We are delighted to announce that we have been able to recruit Dr Juliet Kahnt, an extremely competent and charismatic spinal surgeon, for our hospital. Mrs Kahnt has been working at our hospital since January and is very much looking forward to the new challenge.
Dr J. Kahnt is a FMH specialist in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system and covers the entire spectrum of conservative and operative spinal surgery, including revision surgery.
Dr Kahnt has been employed at Aarau Cantonal Hospital (Dr Philippe Lindenlaub, overall management) for the last 7 years. Of these, 5 years as senior physician and the last year as deputy head physician. Prior to this, she worked at Basel University Hospital and the Swiss Paraplegic Centre in Nottwil under the direction of Dr Patrick Moulin, where she began her specialist training. She also obtained a certificate of competence in interventional pain therapy (SSIPM). Mrs Kahnt is an ideal addition to our spinal team, both professionally and personally.

Spine Centre Bethesda Hospital
Our spinal surgery is part of our Bethesda Hospital Spine Centre and focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of degenerative diseases of the entire spine.
Integration in the Spine Centre guarantees interdisciplinary consultations. To ensure continuity in the individual care of patients, the spinal surgeons have their own ward-based medical service.
