Integration of Dr Thomas M. Stoll's Spine Team practice into the Spine Surgery Clinic, Bethesda Hospital
We are pleased to inform you about the merger of the affiliated practice "Spine Team" T.M. Stoll with the hospital's own Spine Surgery Clinic at Bethesda Hospital, founded in 2021 and headed by Head Physician Dr Juliet Kahnt. Dr Stoll will continue to operate as a senior consultant in all spinal surgery functions and accept personal referrals. The neurosurgeon Prof Hans Landolt will be available for consultation.
Around 25 years ago, spinal surgery was established at Bethesda Hospital by Dr Stoll in close collaboration with the neurosurgeon Prof. Hans Reinhardt, MD, as an attending physician, from which the Spine Team developed as the surgical core of the Spine Centre at Bethesda Hospital. Due to demographic developments and the simultaneous advances in spinal surgery, Bethesda Hospital's offering in this area continued to grow. In 2017, the "Spine Team" also began collaborating with the University Hospital's Spinal Surgery department with the collaboration of senior physician Dr Oliver Fiebig.
The integration of the "Spine Team" into the hospital's own Clinic for Spinal Surgery continues the tradition of spinal surgery at Bethesda Hospital and at the same time brings it together in a single unit.
