Problems with breastfeeding don't have to be
Do you need help with breastfeeding? Do you have the feeling that your baby is not feeding properly or refuses to take the breast? Do you have pain when breastfeeding or are your nipples sore? And what can help with milk stasis? We will be happy to support you.
Breastfeeding has many benefits for both mother and child: Breast milk is the best nutrition for babies, is healthy, practical and available anytime and anywhere. The composition of breast milk is perfect and constantly adapts to the baby's individual needs. In addition to the many different nutrients, breast milk provides the baby with the mother's antibodies and thus protects it from illness. The World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends that all babies should be breastfed for six months and beyond.
Breastfeeding also promotes an intimate relationship between mother and child and means affection, closeness and warmth for the child. Breastfeeding favours the optimal development of all organs and their functions. Breastfed children also have a lower risk of becoming overweight.
Breastfeeding reduces the risk of circulatory diseases, high blood pressure and diabetes in both mother and child and lowers the risk of developing breast cancer. Last but not least, breastfeeding is also easy on the wallet and environmentally friendly.
