Ready for the birth

Safety for mother and child is our top priority. With around 2000 births per year, we guarantee you the best possible care in the feel-good atmosphere of our hospital. Our hotel-like rooms, the large, beautiful park and, last but not least, our caring, empathetic staff all contribute to this.

What do I need to take with me to the birth?

Ideally, the birth bag should be packed three weeks before the due date. This way, you can come to us completely relaxed at the start of labour. We will take care of the baby's initial equipment during the hospital stay.

Important documents are

  • Insurance card
  • Blood group card
  • Mother's passport
  • Vaccination booklet
  • all laboratory results during pregnancy

Wishes and concerns

Before the birth, it is important to think about your expectations regarding your stay with us at Bethesda Hospital. We would ask you to take a few minutes to formulate your wishes and concerns so that we can respond to them as effectively as possible during the birth and in the postnatal period.

Please also discuss your wishes and ideas with your gynaecologist in advance.
